CloudZero approached BB Agency for a strategic rebranding and the development of a marketing website that aligns with their stature and goals. This comprehensive project spanned a full-scale rebranding, in-depth UX research, cutting-edge UI design, and meticulous development, integrating a WordPress CMS, content migration, and a rigorous QA process.

Making CloudZero’s visual identity concept-driven

Shaping a sophisticated and conceptually driven look for CloudZero posed an exciting challenge, especially in creating a new logo that needed to resonate deeply and stand as the most memorable element of the brand.

Close collaboration between our Branding and UX teams, particularly during stakeholder interviews, was crucial for project success. These interactions not only highlighted key challenges early on but also sparked our creativity, leading us to a more innovative approach. This spirit of collaboration didn’t stop there—it spread through our Branding, UI, and Development teams, fostering a fertile ground for exploration and experimentation.

The result of this united effort was a well-rounded and consistent visual identity for CloudZero. We wrapped up the project with a complete set of brand assets, including guidelines, templates, newsletters, and materials for events, all resonating with the brand’s newfound essence.

Strategic UX problem-solving at its best

Diving into the UX research phase, we faced a complex website, with a large volume of pages and a lot of content, especially in the resource section. Our goal was clear: to transform this wealth of information into a format that was not only easy to navigate but also simple to understand.

Our breakthrough came with a revamped approach to research synthesis presentation—a fresh approach that honed our focus on specific problem-solving. Complementing this was a tree test, which gave us invaluable insights into user preferences for the site’s navigation and structure. The synergy between our Branding and UX teams during stakeholder interviews further streamlined the process, contributing significantly to the project’s success.

Thanks to the combined knowledge and the culture of teamwork at our agency, we successfully brought our vision to life. We crafted a user-friendly website that meets the varied needs of its audience, ensuring that finding information is straightforward and hassle-free.

The dynamics of agile UI design

The UI phase presented its own unique challenges. As we worked with a developing brand concept and coordinated with various stakeholders, our team’s adaptability was kind of put to the test. However, it was precisely these challenges that highlighted the exceptional collaboration between our UI and Development teams. Our ability to remain flexible and respond swiftly to evolving project needs was key in keeping the design process on track and meeting our deadlines without compromising on quality.

What’s more, we embraced the opportunity to venture into the unknown, exploring scrollable animation as an added dynamic layer to the website’s conceptual look & feel. The outcome was a resounding success, receiving glowing feedback from the client on the seamless integration of branding within the website.

This experience underscored a valuable lesson: close collaboration and transparent communication between teams not only smoothens the project flow but also opens doors to greater creativity and efficiency, leading to big wins for everyone involved.

Optimizing CloudZero’s digital front for intuitive management

In developing the CloudZero website, our focus was on creating a platform that was both high-performing and secure, but also consistent with the client’s vision. Our choice of WordPress, combined with the Gutenberg editor, was pivotal in achieving this, offering both scalability and ease of management.

A crucial task in this project was migrating all client content from HubSpot CMS to WordPress. Beyond the technical migration, we emphasized organizing and structuring the website content for optimal navigation and administration. We aimed to build an interface that was not just user-friendly but also efficient and functional for day-to-day operations.

The transformation within WordPress centered around making content management more intuitive. We integrated the new brand elements, including the abstract shapes and color systems developed by our Branding team, into the editor. Such customization ensured that the client could personalize their website while preserving brand integrity.
